I am a visual artist born and raised in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I study Visual Arts in the College of Arts and Creative Enterprises at Zayed University.  

As a visual artist, I’ve explored a wide range of mediums and techniques and found my best strengths in sculpture, digital video, and photography. I draw my artistic influences from history in the modern world and engineering in terms of sculpting, and themes of trauma, mystery, and oppression in my photography and video. As a photographer and filmmaker, I tend to find myself being drawn to surrealist themes and focus mainly on body language rather than dialogues or text.

I’ve produced several artworks including paintings and prints as well as booklets. I continuously experiment with new equipment related to photography and video to develop my skills and create my own style. I am always open to explore a broad range of themes that may contribute or relate to my influences, and continue to look for new unexplored methods and techniques that are new to the art world such as virtual reality.
